Years ago, Bob Curtiss started working at Fruehauf Trailer Corp. in Grand Rapids, Michigan as a Mechanic before working his way up to a service manager in the 12 years he was employed by the company. Bob then went on to 10 years of service for West Michigan Trailer Sales which he was also a service manager. Bob had been offered several other opportunities, but decided to branch off on his own. On October 8, 2001, Bob Curtiss Transportation Specialist Inc. opened its doors to the public with only 2 employees, himself (Bob) and his wife Kendra. To this day, Bob Curtiss Transportation Specialist Inc. is in the same location with 6 full time mechanics, Bob and his wife Kendra.
